Roles & Responsiblities : At Wipro Technologies you will be responsible for: 1. Analyse the customer requirements & convert them to appropriate implementation in the OV tool 2. Installation of HP Openview Service Desk modules – both Windows & Unix (Solaris / HPUX) platforms 3. Configuration of Oracle / SQL database, web server for SD use 4. Apply patches & licenses as needed 5. Configuration & Customization of the SD product – forms, web pages, business rules, workflow, table fields etc. 6. Integration of SD with email servers, ESM tool (like OV, Unicenter, Tivoli etc), Active Directory / LDAP etc. 7. Generation of various reports – built-in as well as using a reporter tool like Crystal Reports or OV Reporter 8. Trouble shooting problems faced during implementations & coordinating with HP Technical support for any issues faced 9. Documentation of the implementation / customization done in the projects 10. Providing consistent SCM activities like Build, Release, Packaging and other SCM
